American Express have finally announced the promotional details for Small Business Saturday this year which will be on the 29th of November. Here are the details:
- You’ll receive a $10 statement credit when you make a purchase of $10 or more at a participating small business using an enrolled American Express card on November 29th (Small Business Saturday)
- You can view participating small businesses by clicking here
- You can earn three $10 statement credits per card for a total of $30 per card
- Registration for Small Business Saturday begins on November 16 at 12:00 A.M. MST (“Mountain Standard Time”), and will continue until 11:59 P.M. MST on Nov 29, 2014 unless the registration limit is reached before then
- Corporate cards and all prepaid cards (apart from Bluebird & Serve) are excluded from this promotion
The best way to get the most value out of this promotion is to have a bunch of American Express cards and authorized cards from your spouse/significant other/trusted friend. I should be able to get at least $300 in statement credits from this promotion. I’ll try to shop at regular small businesses that I frequent and also try out a few places that I normally wouldn’t give a chance as well. It’ll also be interesting to see if they have any more location targeted promotions this year or not.
