Our Verdict
Keep in mind the new rules that restrict you getting the bonus based on what Chase Marriott cards you’ve recently gotten/received the sign up bonus. Highest bonus on this card since the unified Marriott/SPG program is 75,000 points. Under the old program we saw bonuses of 35,000 SPG points (worth 105,000 points under the new program). Because of that I’d just wait for a bigger bonus to come along, I don’t think this offer is competitive at all. There is also a bonus of 90,000 points + $100 statement credit on the business version, that offer is a lot more competitive. As always read this post about things you should know about American Express credit cards if you have any questions.
So I applied for the personal Marriott last October and I still have it, am I eligible for this card? TIA.
Thank you. I have misunderstood the bank/credit card rules recently LOL. I guess so many details to keep track of for financial deals recently LOL.
I’m assuming this is not considered a new product from the old SPG amex?
Correct, it’s the exact same card.
