Has anyone received the credit from a dell.com purchase this time around? It specifically says dell.com/amex. Do you get an email confirming redemption like other amex offers?

When you go to the website dell.com/amex it goes to the dell business website. So does that mean this offer is only good on purchases from the business part of dell and not the home part?

When I got the similar offer the first half on my personal card, I had no problem getting credit from my Dell home TV purchase.

In my experience, no. All purchases from Dell triggered the 10%.

My experience as well – home or business is fine, even if going through cashback portal; I don’t know about EPP but would guess it also works. Outlet does not work.

FWIW, prices at Dell.com/Amex were 5% higher than shopping through the normal site, and 7% higher than when I shopped through a corporate discount portal, at least for the few models I was considering

The 10% off earlier this year worked on all my normal Dell.com purchases. It’s not a portal thing so don’t need to go through Dell.com/amex

Dell’s fiscal year ends Jan 31 and they tend to have some good deals in January, especially on the outlet sites. It’ll be interesting to see if the outlet sites are really excluded in practice.

From past experience (about a year ago) the outlet is excluded in practice.

Sweet, I got this on my Amex Biz Gold which already gives me 4 pts/$ at Dell plus an older offer of +1 pt/$ for a total of 5 pts/$. I will combine with eBates/Rakuten the next time Dell goes 10%+ to get a nice stack of points!

Exact same plan here. Got my Dell $100 credit waiting, got this 10% amex offer as well. Rakuten had 11% a few weeks back, i didnt go for it because I wanted this 10% amex offer too.
