Our Verdict
There’s no resale opportunity here with Macy’s gift cards (75.5% GCW), but still an excellent deal for the current shopping season. Also, remember you can earn Plenti points at Macy’s. You also get double membership rewards points through the end of the year.
I was able to make this work by going through either the Amex link or the Discover Portal . The key is buying a physical gift card. I tried buying e-cards with two of my offers and they didn’t track at all. I went back and bought physical cards and the congratulations email from Amex posted almost immediately.
which card in particular are people finding offer on?
thx
Does Macy’s sell both physical and e-gift cards online? Is one or the other processed by third-party?
Trying to maximize with 2x MR on macys.com.
i used instore and did not get an email
Hi, I just used this offer with my amex gold authorized user card, but I didn’t get instant confirmation email from amex as I usually do, any thoughts? Thx
I bought a $100 Macy’s e-gift card online and did not receive the congratulation email. Hope there is no problem
Same outcome for me, purchased a $100 e-gift card yesterday and no Amex email yet…
Had no idea they had a travel dept….Macys Travel. I wonder what that’s all about?
its just macys way of struggling to be relevant. nobody talks about it cuz nobody cares.
you can check out the skeletons which are still up and running for some reason.

Haven’t stepped foot in Macy’s for over 5 years. Anyone know if they sell third party gift cards.
I dont believe so. They only sell their own gift cards
Does it work if you purchase Macy’s Gift Card, anyone tried it yet?
