Our Verdict
This offer might not be showing for everyone, but seems to be widespread, likely for those in BJ’s footprint.
Without a doubt, this is an excellent offer since wholesale clubs are usually discounted to begin with. I don’t know much about BJ’s gift cards, but I imagine you can simply buy a $100 gift card at a BJ’s club with each Amex card and then proceed to use those up over time for your regular purchases. And once you have the gift card, you might be able to use that to buy gas at the BJ’s gas station.
Also note that BJ’s sells third-party gift cards online, even at a discount, and they likely sell the same cards in-store. This makes it even easier to maximize the offer. And they even sell Visa/MC gift cards.

BJ’s Membership
Membership at BJ’s costs $50. It’s likely you can get that prorated if you cancel in less than a year. Additionally, there have been offers from Amex many times to get membership for free or at a discount.
Currently, I’m seeing an offer on one of my Amex cards to get 3-months of free membership by saving a promo code. That should be enough for me to do my thing. 🙂
It looks like it will work for any Amex cardholders.

I got the $25 back for $100 purchase offer on all three of my cards (I used different logins for all three cards).
However the offer details state “Limit 1 statement credit(s) per American Express® Card across all American Express offer channels.” –does that mean I can use only one $100 offer even though I have three separate logins?
Anyone try this offer on more than one card and got statement credit back for each card?

Can Amex offers disappear? I know 100% I added it to all cards but three cards don’t have any sign of it now.

On my HHonors card.. and my Mom HHonors (she’s an AU on my account). so I assume we have 2 offers.
Not on my mom’s Blue Cash Everyday card nor mine (I’m an AU on her BCE card).
Guess it’s time to visit the BJ’s that opened near the house and check out their gift card section. Hopefully there’s more variety in store than what they show online, it’d be nice to buy gift cards for the stores I plan to hit up for black Friday.

They sell 200 vgcs as well.
The highest they have in terms of Visa Gift cards is 100 or 200 depending on the club. Clubs are EXTREMELY strict about purchasing gift cards with credit because of obvious fraud problems, please do not just open a membership to buy gift cards. There is a three month trial going on till 12/31
Has anyone been to a BJ’s lately? I have this offer on ~10 cards. Would love to know if they sell any GC’s that are easy to liquidate. Thanks!
They sell $200 Vanillas (MC I think, but with Vanilla it doesn’t matter if it’s V or MC) for about $205.49. These won’t work at Wal-Mart (unless you break it up in $49.99 purchases) but they will work easily for loading Serve at Family Dollar or buying money orders at various grocery stores all over the country. They should also work for money orders at the Post Office, though the Post Office charges way more for money orders than the grocery stores- at least where I live.
All in all, awesome deal!
There was also a nice offer I saw on my Platinum Card for a free three month membership to BJ’s to pair along with this promo – for those of us who are non-BJ members.
