Our Verdict

Last year the deal was spend $200+ and get $10 back. This is basically the same deal, but 5x on both the spend and statement credit back. Good deal if you can liquidate these.

Does anyone know what the MCC is for purchasing a gift card through AmEx? Trying to figure out if this will qualify for “online purchases” for BofA cash rewards. BofA excludes MCC 6540 (account funding, stored value card purchase, prepaid load).

Same here… they just told me to clear my browser data which obviously did nothing. I gave up, it’s not worth the effort.

What is “logo Gift Cards”? I assume that business e-gift cards worked for people and don’t fall into this category?

Mine is for $20 off of a $300 gc purchase; can be physical or egift.

Correction: The code SHOPEARLY20 will remove purchase fees for BUSINESS cards. So, if you purchase the egift card, you’re ahead $20. The code is valid through today.  William Charles

SHOPEARLY20 still works today. Got 2 emails at the same time: 1 confirming the order and 1 indicating that I redeemed the $20 offer and can expect the credit as long as the purchase met the qualifications.

I got the $20 credit posted already. Amex is so fast these days. Some of the purchases are posting the next day.

That’s great. Does office depot visa card offer accept visa card purchased from this offer? That sounds like a cycle…

yes, have done that in the past round as well. Being that this is a repeated offer, can rinse and repeat every time the offer comes around if you have the previous card still unused.
