#AmexJet $20 Off $50 at Jet.com

The Offer

  • Spend $50 or more at Jet.com with a registered Amex card and receive a $20 statement credit.
  • Also, there are a few promo codes for new customers. Make sure that the final total is $50 to trigger the Amex Offer. (Verify on the final screen that the discount is showing as there are some reports of it falling off.)
    • Promo code SAVE15NOW for $15 off
    • Promo code Android20 will give you 20% off
    • Promo code 15NOW at checkout for 15% off

This offer can be saved by tweeting #AmexJet with a connected Twitter account or by finding it in your Amex login.

The Fine Print

  • Expires 1/31/16
  • Sounds like the entire $50 must be spent in one transaction, not cumulative
  • Can be used online at jet.com or on the Jet mobile app

Our Verdict

The beauty of offers to stores like Jet is that they sell everyday items, and most people can make use of them. However, this is nowhere near as useful as the Amazon offer since they don’t sell gift cards;  even jet.com gift cards don’t seem to exist, and you’ll have to make lots of separate $50 purchases to maximize this offer.

Shipping is free on orders over $35 which means that anyone using this offer for a $50 purchase won’t have to worry about shipping fees. And Jet no longer charges an annual membership fee.

Nice time to try out Jet. Certainly your first order will be an awesome deal as you’ll get ~$58 for $30 after the Amex Offer and promo code.

I’m not having success with the Twitter method right now (been having some issues for a few weeks already with Twitter and this offer isn’t working for me either), but I see it in my login, and I’ll save it on some cards that way.

I tried using serve but at jet.com received an “unable to verify payment method” error. Anyone used Serve for this offer?

Has anyone that received the “you are already enrolled” message been able to figure out the problem? I just logged into Facebook and the Jet.com offer is showing as available on my Amex card. However, when I try to add it I receive this message: “Sorry, we are having trouble adding this offer to your Card. Please contact customer service for assistance.” I was able to add the Shutterfly offer with no problem on Facebook so hopefully this issue is isolated to this offer.

Anyone was able to get $20 back when they split $50 between different purchases on different accounts?

Made small purchases that came up as two different large purchases. Haven’t received the $20 credit yet, and it’s been about a week.

If you wanted to buy 1 thing that cost $150, could you split the purchase into three and use three different credit cards for the purchase? Can you do that online or do you have to call? Anybody have any experience doing that?

Report on code.

I see a APPLE20 code on my end (Jet iOS app) for new users 20%off on their first order as well.

“Brand restrictions apply. Maximum discount $50.”

Just bought 19 bottles of Head & Shoulders shampoo, which will end up being $1 each. Total came to $50.98 using SAVE15NOW for $15 off, then the $20 off for the Amex Offer, (email confirmation of which came within minutes of my jet.com order), then submit a $15 rebate from P&G (see rebate form here: https://www.pgeveryday.com/page/search?q=rebate&section=contents). Won’t be buying shampoo for a while!

I used this method. I got all P&G razors, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Subtotal was $65, got it down to $51.50. Then I’ll get the $20 off through Amex and hopefully the rebate. I have had issues in the past with submitting those P&G rebate forms.

Thanks!

I’ve never used Jet and, honestly, never planned to. But 20 off 50 — plus additional discounts – certainly has gotten me interested. Do they offer decent prices on pantry-like products? You know, consumables and the various holdhold stuff that Amazon sometimes sells cheap. Without gift card options, I suspect that’s the only way I’m likely to use up some credits. I guess I need to learn more about what Jet sells.
