Audible Premium Plus: $5.95 Per Month For First 3 Months + $20 Audible Credit

The Offer

Direct link to offer (our affiliate link)

  • Audible is offering the first three months for $5.95 (normal price is $14.95) and you get a $20 Audible credit as well.

Our Verdict

Seems to be working even if you’ve been a previous customer, won’t work if you’re currently a customer. American Express Platinum cardholders can use their digital credits for Audible as well.

Not dead-dead, I am seeing the same offer just without a $20 credit.

For those ineligible on your primary Audible account, you can have one Audible account per email address. Credits can be used to gift a book to a different Audible account. Just sayin’.

Unfortunately the one-time $20 Audible credit can’t be used for gifted books, only the monthly credits can.

Can I pause during the first 3 months and still have the same price? For example, I pay $6 for November, pause December, January, pay $6 for February, pay $6 for March?

Alternatively….

After paying for first month and getting the $20 credit, if I cancel my membership, will the $20 be clawed back by Audible? Has anyone tried?

I don’t think they take the $20 back. I accidentally purchased the plan on an account which didn’t have the discounted plan. When I asked for a refund, they left the $20 credit on the account

Just cautious how to use the credit ..

*Curious?
Especially while you have a current subscription, the prices of audiobooks are reduced or put on sale. You should use the $ credit then instead of your book credits.

Not available for my account, but I did end up with an offer for 30 days for free, and two credits.

It pulls up the $5.95/mo promotion, but mentions not eligible in the next step. Going through Alexa app gives 3 months for free plus $20 credit

Go through Alexa app if the website says you are ineligible, you would get this deal.

still doesn’t seem to work for existing customers, even after cancelling

Do you mean go through the Audible app? I can’t find anything about it in the Alexa app, and I’d rather not have Amazon spying on everything through that. No deal offered in Audible app either, just regular price.

William Charles headline says $4.95; offer is $5.95

I just cancelled mine. Whenever I try signing up, it tells me I’m still an existing customer. I probably have to wait for my current month to end.

The membership ends at your current term if it is canceled now. Not sure if you can ask customer service to stop it right away.

This seems to be YMMV. Im a previous customer but it’s been over a year since the last time I was and the offer isn’t showing up for me.
