Bank of America’s new Preferred Rewards program is now live. As noted in the original post, a streaming credit was added in the new program. We now have the full details:
- Preferred Honors level ($100k assets) receives up to $8 in credits. Premier level ($1M+ assets) receives up to $15 in credits.
- Streaming credits are valid at:
- Paramount+
- Sirius XM
- WSJ
- The Economist
- You must use your debit card to pay for any of these subscriptions in order to get the credit.
Feel free to discuss best options in the comments below. I might subscribe to WSJ for $8 every 4 weeks (will probably end up getting hit with one or two non-credited charges per year).
As discussed in the original post, the new Bank of America Preferred Rewards program also includes a huge downgrade for those in the $100k tier in terms of credit card rewards which will go into effect sometime in 2027-2028 (varies by member).
