3/21/2022 – Purchase made at Macy’s (clicked through BeFrugal for cashback)
6/19/2022 – BeFrugal’s estimated payable date. (Cashback was NOT payable on that date)
6/20/2022 – Cashback became payable. I selected Visa Prepaid Card for 5% bonus.
6/21/2022 – Received email with Visa card’s details and was able to use funds.
Garbage site still waiting for a cashback payout from them nearly a year later. Endless run around. Even took them to BBB and they just stonewalled until the case was closed. If you’re lucky enough to get money credited from them cash it out and run.
I rarely have any issues with Befrugal and Rakuten. If you took them all the way to BBB, it’s probably not an insignificant amount. Were you trying to exploit some kind of loophole?
It’s for $18, which is insignificant but at this point it’s about principle. No exploit, the transaction was legit and they just refuse to pay me. Never had any issues with Rakuten, Topcashback, Swagbucks, etc.
You can easily do better than 5% by buying vgc with cc.
Better redeem quickly before Todd denies you your cashback. /s
I think 5% is the standard bonus for Visa GC redemption on BeFrugal, if I remember correctly.
