Capital One Spark Miles Business Card Adds TSA PreCheck/Global Entry Credit

The Capital One Spark Miles for Business credit card has a new feature, the card now comes with a $100 Global Entry or TSA PreCheck credit. The benefit can be used once every four years (both Global Entry and PreCheck require renewal every five years). I suspect most readers of this blog will already have Global Entry/PreCheck from another card offering this benefit, but the addition of benefits is never a bad thing I guess – although a bit of variety would be nice.

Can always gift it to someone else if you already have the benefit on other cards.

Is this effective immediately for current Spark Miles cardholders?

I wonder if we’ll see the same (or equivalent) benefit on the Spark Cash, considering they’re essentially the same card already, only one is 2x points and the other is 2% back.

Note that this card counts on the Chase 5/24 rule.

It’s not that common of a benefit yet, and IIRC the only non-AF cards that offered it have been discontinued. (This is an AF card too.)

1. PenFed Pathfinder?
2. After owning this card for at least a year, you may qualify to be permanently upgraded to the no-AF version (with identical benefits and rewards). I was invited to do so after putting only about $5k on the card in a year.
