Chase added a new ‘Deals’ tab in the Ultimate Rewards interface. We initially assumed this was related to the upcoming relaunch of ‘Chase Offers‘, but it appears to be an entirely unrelated feature. It combines all existing Ultimate Rewards deals in one tab, including increased portal rates as well as discounted gift card redemptions.
When selecting the Deals tab, you’ll see at a glance all the increased shopping portal rates available as well gift cards which are available at a discount for Ultimate Rewards points redemptions. Not really anything you couldn’t see by checking, but might be a bit useful.

What a garbage offering from Chase… Color me unimpressed.
I don’t get why people complain when a company updates their User Interface, because that’s pretty much what this is. Highlighting some of their UR earning/redemption options. Not a new offering or anything…
I for one appreciate the update to the user interface. It helps me explain where to go to my mother and sister who both just cash in their UR points. This way I can direct them to at least get something more out of it.
