Our Verdict

The regular bonus is $50 for non-Prime and $100 for Prime; $200 ties the highest bonus we’ve seen. The bonus is especially interesting given the zero spend requirement. The card also earns 5% at Amazon and Whole Foods which a lot of people will find useful. Note, the $200 bonus is for Prime members only.

Someone can also refer their friend to this card and the referrer will get $50 as well. NO REFERRALS IN THE COMMENTS BELOW. We’ll add this to our List of Best Current Credit Card Signup Bonuses.

Was anyone able to get the $200 bonus through a product change from an existing Chase credit card?

When I sign into chase, I can see the card and it’s actually letting me request a credit limit increase for it. I just got approved, my other chase cards don’t have the option for CLI. Anyone else experience this?

Got 30 days. I think I’m under 5/24 but I have 6 Chase credit cards… wondering if I need to move credit to this card? Does anyone know if there is a specific recon number for the Amazon card?

hello, just letting you all know that the $50 referral mentioned in this article https://www.doctorofcredit.com/amazon-prime-cardholders-get-50-when-referring-a-friend-to-amazon-visa-up-to-500/ applies to this elevated $200 offer as well. my wife just applied and was approved; she got the $200 gift card instantly and i got the $50 referral gift card instantly. she signed up for the week trial @ $1.99 regular price and i have the actual prime account that we both use regularly.

Does anyone know if it would work for someone who is not the primary prime member?

For a long time I had the Amazon Store Card that pays 5% cash back on Amazon, 5% only for Prime members, of course. I decided to close this card today and switch to the Chase Prime because of the $200 gift card offer. After being approved, I did get the $200 gift card, but my new Chase Prime card has not automatically shown up in my Amazon account for immediate use. I’ll have to wait until the card comes in the mail before I can add it to my Amazon account. And yes, I can confirm Experian hard pull.

One day later, the Chase Prime card did show up in my Amazon account. No explanation for the delay.
