Our Verdict
Previously this card has come with the annual fee but the other benefits remain the same. I’m actually tempted to apply for this offer, Fairmont has some really nice properties available. Before I sign up I’ll need to decide where I actually want to stay and if I can plan the trip in the next twelve months or not. I never recommend signing up for these free night bonuses unless you have a specific plan, because what inevitably happens is that as the expiry approaches you’ll be willing to compromise where you stay.
Let me know your thoughts on this new offer. Also keep in mind that while we think the new Chase application rules don’t apply (or don’t apply as much) to co-branded credit cards, there is still some risk that you’ll be denied for too many recent inquiries.
