[Expired] Chase Offers/BofA: Save 10% at Staples, Max $6

Deal has expired, view more Staples offers here.

Update 4/18/19: New batch came out with May 2 expiration. (hat tip to reader Rich)

The Offer

Check your Chase cards for the following offer:

  • Get 10% back on your Staples or staples.com purchase.

The Fine Print

  • Valid through 4/22/19
  • Offer valid one time only
  • Offer not valid on third-party purchases
  • Payment must be made on or before offer expiration date

Our Verdict

Reader Gerald sent this one in from their Chase Offers. Usually, the same offers show with Chase as with Bank Amerideals and some other banks. The $6 max is a bummer ($60 spend), though fairly typical for Cardlytics. You can split-tender in Staples stores.

There’s a fee-free Mastercard deal going on this week as well.

Does Chase give you an alert of some sort when you fulfill an offer (similar to AMEX offer)?

Not quite the same. You should get an email but it can take up to a week. I fulfilled the Hampton one on 4/18 and got the email on 4/25.

It makes it more difficult of course, but Chase CS is good so if you fulfilled it properly, they will credit you if it doesn’t happen automatically.

Chase Offers now show online! Log in, scroll to the bottom of your accounts. I had to disable my ad-blocker to see the details of the offers when I added them.

Thanks qmc. So, I can’t see this offer in ChasePay. I see other offers (like Starbucks). Is ChasePay making different offers to different people or should I have expected to see this offer there? Also, since I’m not too familiar with ChasePay, can I add a Chase Business Credit card to ChasePay ? Thanks much.

Different offers for different people. Chase biz cards aren’t eligible for Chase Offers.

Offers are targeted that’s why you’re not seeing them in any of your personal cards OR sometimes, you get it later than others. Continue to check every now and then.

I have the 10% on Olive Garden up to $70 purchase, max credit $7, 5% on AirBnB which I didn’t click so I don’t know max credit, Auto Advantage, Starbucks and a few others I’m not interested in.

Thank you Mimi. Yes, I’ll keep checking every once and then, I’m realizing now that ChasePay offers are not same for everyone. I appreciate your help.

This is funny, my WOH card never got any decent offers, but now that I’m almost at 14k and want to wait until close to my anniversary so I get both certificates at the same time, I get this offer …oh well, i guess I’m going to have to be careful not to reach 15k right away

edit: got it in WOH and 2 freedoms. I feel lucky. brb, out to buy a lottery ticket

All except my Hyatt card has chase offers. Anyone has the same problem?

I think it has to do with use. My more frequently used cards have more offers than my lower spend cards.
