Had this offer on 2 different Wells Fargo accounts (P1 and P2). Successfully activated and redeemed on an Active Cash and Autograph card. Though I believe if you are targeted for offers like this one, you should be able to use it on any debit or credit card that is linked to your Wells Fargo online banking.
Purchases were a little over $5 each at Trader Joe’s on 12/31 (went there to get some last minute frozen appetizers for New Years Eve!). Got emails and notifications in online account that cashback offers were triggered on 1/4. I don’t know why, but Wells Fargo tried to send the cashback to our closed checking accounts, so they decided to mail us checks for the offer instead.
We just got the checks last week, and they were dated 2/6. Nice way to get an extra $10 for groceries that we were planning on purchasing anyway. P3 was not targeted for this offer. None of us got this offer on our Chase accounts, since our online access is locked on all our accounts, and we will have to go to a branch with 2 forms of ID to get them unlocked.

The “Congrats! You’ve successfully redeemed…” e-mail came 10 days after my transaction posted.
Not surprised that the 7 – 14 day window for credit posting is enforced this time, given how much free money is being given away for this.
Got my successfully redeemed email a week ago and no credit. Looked closer at the email and it says it was redeemed to my checking account despite using the only credit card I have with WF. My checking account has been closed for a couple months. Am I SOL? I’
Just a follow up DP. Wells Fargo sent me a check for the $5 since it was credited to a closed account.
I received the successfully redeemed email. But I don’t see where it was credited.

It was a Chase offer, but that expired. Wells Fargo has the same offer and it hasn’t expired yet.
