- Chase is offering a signup bonus on the Chase Sapphire Preferred: earn 100,000 points after $5,000 in spend within the first three months.
Card Details
- $95 annual fee, not waived
- No foreign transaction fees
- Primary car rental insurance
- $100 Annual Hotel Credit. (This is per cardmember year, rather than calendar year. Must be booked through the Chase Travel Portal.)
- Card earns at the following rates:
- 5x on travel booked through the Chase Travel portal.
- 3x on Dining/Streaming Services/online grocery (excludes: excluding Target, Walmart and
wholesale clubs) - 3x on Gas/EV
- 3x on Airbnb, VRBO, Plum Guide, HomeAway, Homestay.com, and Vacasa
- 2x on other travel
- 1x on all other purchases

Our Verdict
100,000 matches the best offer we’ve ever seen. Standard offer is 60k and sometimes we’ve seen 75k. We’ll add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.
It might be worth waiting until to see if referral links get this offer, that way you can help out a friend. Otherwise, find a blogger with affiliate links to support by using their link to sign up (we don’t have affiliate links).
Reminder that you can one Sapphire Preferred bonus per person/lifetime and one Sapphire Reserve bonus per person/lifetime. Sapphire Reserve just went down from 150k to 100k online or 125k in-branch, so might be worth waiting on signing up for that card to see if something better comes another time.
