Chase Sapphire, CSR, CSP Cardholders Being Offered Two Years Of DoorDash ‘DashPass’ (Normally $9.99 A Month) For Free

Update 1/15/20: Chase is sending out the free 1-2 year offer via email even to regular Sapphire cardholders, so it seems all Sapphire cards are eligible for this, even the no-fee Sapphire version. (ht ZS and AC)

Update: Preferred also gets two years for free with Chase Freedom/Slate getting three months. I think this likely indicates we will see some sort of additional credit for Reserve cardholders.

Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders are being offered two years of food delivery service DoorDash’s DashPass for free. After adding a Chase Sapphire Reserve card to your account, you should see this prompt. DashPass provides free delivery on orders from eligible restaurants, although service fees and minimum orders can still also apply. It was rumored that Chase would be adding a dining/delivery benefit to the Sapphire Reserve late last year and DoorDash was the partner I’d heard about.

I hope that this DashPass benefit isn’t the only thing being added as it’s probably of limited use to most cardholders. If the card also came with a $10 monthly credit then that would be a different story. There is undoubtedly less pressure on Chase to improve the Sapphire Reserve after American Express made negative changes to how the $200 airline credit works on the Platinum card.
