Beginning on Janaury 1, 2027, the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business card will have an enhanced The Edit hotel credit of $1,000 each calendar year. Instead of two $250 credits per year, cardholders will be able to get up to four $250 statement credits for The Edit bookings of 2-nights or longer.
I haven’t found any direct link from Chase regarding this enhanced benefit; it was sent out broadly to media outlets.
Note: the consumer Sapphire Reserve card is remaining the same with two $250 credits per year.
As before, you can use these on back-to-back bookings as well. For example, you can book 4 two-day stays back-to-back and get all $1,000 in credits one 8 day hotel stay. Just clear it with the hotel after booking to ensure they’ll keep you in the same room for all four bookings.
Our Verdict
Solid enhancement here. Some people might not find The Edit benefit valuable, but for those who can use it this is a nice win.
