[Expired] Chase Southwest Referrals for 60,000 Points Offer are Valid through January 15th

Deal has expired, view more Southwest deals by clicking here.

The Chase Southwest card is currently offering 60,000 points on all 4 version of the card (though the offer has a high spend requirement on the 3 personal versions – $12k to earn the full 60k bonus). Those offers are showing an end-date of today, January 9th. The business card offer doesn’t show any expiration, hopefully it’ll remain.

Reader Bret points out that the Southwest referrals are showing an end-date of January 15th.

Assuming Chase doesn’t pull them early, you should be able to continue getting the same offer for another few days. It may even be worth waiting until tomorrow to see what the offer is then – e.g. maybe Chase will go back to offering 50,000 points for $2,000 spend which a lot of people find more worthwhile (though that offer is already available via the in-flight link) – and then you can decide. Of course there is some element of risk in doing so in case Chase somehow pulls the referral links before their time.

Chase Southwest points earned from signup bonuses count toward the Southwest Companion Pass, and January is the best time to get the Pass, which is why a lot of people are interested in tracking Southwest bonuses right now.

Please do not leave referrals in the comments to this post.

My wife and I are both over 5/24. We really enjoyed the Companion Pass the last two years and used it a lot. Any suggestions for another card we might go after? We would like to go to Europe this year from NYC and have 200,000 Hilton Honors points. A card that pays for TSA Precheck and has iPhone protection would be nice.

I looked at my referral link for the premier this morning, and it was only the 40k/1k offer, not 60k.

Looks Like the Priority Card doesn’t have a referral bonus. What a shame 🙁

Remember if 50k miles / 12k spend is too high and 40k miles / 3k spend is too low you can get better offers at the airport or mid-flight.
I earned 50k after 2k on a plus card that will compliment my SW business 60k offer perfectly.

I’m looking at the 60K Business Card but for the remaining 50K to reach 110K I’m not sure about. I could easily MS the remaining but it would also just be easier to wait around for a better off too.

Any suggestions?

This is what we did also – we found a kiosk in MCO. I was going to apply mid-flight but was a little concerned about signal holding out while I did and then not being sure it went through.

Thanks! Question: Is Chase capping you points you can earn from Southwest sign ups, i.e., if you sign up for one card and get the bonus, can you still get the bonus on another card? Or are they trying to limit it to one-bonus-per-card-family thing, like Sapphire?

Thanks. Been having a hell of a time getting P2 approved for a business card, and she has an actual business!
