Our Verdict

Previous best offer was 75,000 miles with annual fee waived or 100,000 miles but that required $10,000 in spend. Keep in mind 5/24 rule does apply to this card, but Chase business cards do not report to your personal credit report so this card won’t be added to your 5/24 total. I do think this offer is worth doing and I doubt we will see a bigger bonus on this card anytime soon. Will add this to our list of the best credit card bonuses.

guys, my application has been under review for > 2 weeks. Calling them is not working they continue to tell me to give it 24-48 hours. Been a churner with Chase and this has never happened to me before. Any idea what must be going on. <5/24 so was hoping to get immediately approved.

Sometimes Chase is slow to review and approve. I had this happen on a business card last year. Three weeks after the application, a Chase rep called and asked me some financial questions about the business, moved some credit from another Chase card, and approved. My advice: have patience and wait it out. Good luck!

I applied and my application is “in review” with next steps of “We’ll let you know our decision in writing as soon as we can, and if you’re approved, you’ll receive your card in 7 to 10 business days.”

Should I call the human reconsideration line?

Wait for a decision. If not approved, call for reconsideration. Sometimes Chase will move credit lines and approve.

Is it possible to churn? I closed this card last month after the AF posted for year two, I did collected the SUB on year 1, I know there is not a pop up Amex window here, just thinking if I do qualify for this bonus of dont n if I don’t I wouldn’t apply

Is it possible to link the sign-up/points from this card to an existing personal Mileage+ account?

Aren’t all Mileage+ accounts in someone’s name (vs. Xyz LLC)?

Actually you may be on to something. P2 just got approved and was given a brand new MP number, which obviously she doesn’t want as she has lifetime status on her existing MP account (which she entered on the application). UA transferred her to Chase which said they can’t do anything about the double up until she receives her new card in the mail. They didn’t seem too concerned.

you can merge your united MP numbers if you call united.

Whats the safest time between apps? (Under 05/24, 1 biz and 1 per in the last 60)

To play it safe, people generally recommend spacing out applications about 3 months apart. I try to follow this rule, except for the end of the year when I have lots of holiday expenses and taxes payments. So I generally increase my applications to 1 every other month or 2 months. I’ve always been approved. But hasn’t been the case for my wife as she would get rejected for too many inquiries.

Agree the devaluations are moving United Mileageminus towards the direction of Delta Skypesos. Still find United useful for certain itineraries and time schedules. United has some of the most uncomfortable seats in the industry in economy class–especially on their older metal. Who in United designs the ergonomics for their seats?

Hahaha haven’t seen MileageMinus before. Time to go bother the UA Sub with this

Any DPs for asking to get upgraded to the SUB of this offer? I opened this card almost 2 months ago to fulfill getting discounted reward flights thru United and now I definitely missed out… maybe a learning experience

Send them a message and ask. Why waste ur time asking here. Be the datapoint you want to see worst they say to you is “no”

same situation. SUB hasn’t posted yet. Previously Chase would match in such cases. That is no more. Response saying that offer remains as it was at time of signup.
