This deal is working now. I have saved $1 gallon on three fill ups. My vehicle holds 18 gallon so I’ve saved like $50. Note: I have two Chevrons near me. At one, Chevron Rewards didn’t work. But at the other one, it worked easy breezy. YMMV. For extra bonus this quarter, grab a Chevron gift card at the grocery store with your Chase Freedom. You can load the gift card on the Chevron app and pay in the app if you like.

If you sign-up for the Texaco/Chevron rewards you’re merely signing-up to be scammed. It doesn’t work most places, even though at the pump there are a multitude of instructions on how to use the rewards. In short don’t waste your time money and energy on this BS scam. They send endless notifications which are not worth anything and don’t care how much of your time they waste.

I didnt get a discount it took my rewards. Nothing. But it did work for my aunt. I do know the first time my bank declined until I verified it was me. So maybe that had something to do with it.

It is a scam. Why? The first time I typed in my phone number it took away the first visit rewards of a dollar off. I contacted corporate they assured me that they reinstated it. The second time I went to the pump it asked me if I wanted to use my dollar off I said yes. As soon as I put my credit card in, it would not allow me to pump the gas. It was indicating to put the nozzle back. Then the price went up. I complained to the manager. Of course they told me to contact corporate. When they checked my account my second visit rewards was not reinstated like they said. So I lost two visits of a dollar off a gallon. Calling corporate tomorrow so I can get this reinstated. It is a scam.

this is not a scam. It sounds like user error to me. I have had no issues at all using the $1 reward when fueling up and neither has my family. We have all appreciated the $1.00 reduction in gas prices upon filling up our gas tanks. I have been saving $18 a tank or more, that’s great! You only get 3 times at the pump to use the $1.00 with the initial reward sign up bonus, so use it wisely. I have been waiting until I almost need a full tank of gas to maximize my savings. Also, not all Chrvrons are participants in the program so the smartest thing to do is to check first before filling up.

It’s basically a scam. I just finished a road trip to Florida. I passed Georgia, Alabama and Florida. None of gas station (>6 chevron/Texaco stations) is participating in chevron rewards. So you can’t apply any points. Will never visit this brand anymore.

It is same in California, none of Chevron gas station are participating the rewards program in my bay area , San Diego, LA, LV, Sacramento, etc., etc. It is total a scam. Chevron just want to sign up and get your phone number and email. DO NOT sign up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m glad someone else is realizing this I was so mad when I realized that Chevron doesn’t accept Chevron rewards, this actually wouldn’t be a problem except they advertise this at almost every station yet you can’t use them anywhere!! Btw when I checked the map Sacramento was the only place I could find that did accept these rewards there was like 10 stations in sac.

Maybe a very slow rollout? The station near my home is now advertising the rewards program and the station finder is showing participating stations all over San Diego.

Signing up at their website tells me I only get 100 points, not 1,000.

Is Texaco Chevron? I get some sole Texaco offers but I get seperate Chevron. I figure they were different.

Texaco merged with Chevron 20 years ago. Combined company was known as ChevronTexaco for a couple years. To your question, Chase offers are typically one or the other, usually more often Chevron. I imagine Chevron rolled out this program to start competing with ExxonMobil’s. Didn’t realize Shell gave 3c off if you provide your number until I did that Chase flash offer. (Never used them before.)

Offer does not accept my phone number. Of course I gas up at a participating location.
