Citi AAdvantage Business Card Revamp Coming January 2027 ($150 Annual Fee, New Benefits)

Citi is revamping their AAdvantage Business World Elite Mastercard. These additional benefits and changes go into effect on January 24, 2027.  (They’re also revamping their AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite Mastercard which we covered separately.)

Press Release

  • The annual fee is increased from $99 to $150. Fee will still be waived for the first year.

Card points earning:

  • 3X on eligible AAdvantage Hotels and AAdvantage Cars bookings

  • 2X on American Airlines purchases (no change)
  • 2X at car rental merchants (no change)
  • 2X at gas stations (no change)
  • 2X on telecommunications, cable, and satellite (no change)

  • 25% off a Melio subscription plan
