[Expired] Citi Offers: Byte, $100 Back When You Spend $100+ ($45 Money Maker)

The Offer

  • Citi Offers is $100 when you spend $100+ on Byte.

The Fine Print

  • Valid until 1/13/2022

Our Verdict

The impression kit is $95+ tax when you don’t use a promo code (terms exclude taxes, so might need to add another item), so should be over $100. If you go through a portal you can get $45 back, making it a $45 money maker. That has been as high as $50 in the past.

Citi offers tracked for me:
1/8 purchased impression kit. $101.29 including tax.
2/28 credited $100. Shows up as “offers ny”

Has anyone got this offer to track on Citi offers and SimplyMiles? I made the purchase Jan 8th and hasn’t tracked yet.

I find that portals don’t give you money back if you have offers at the same time from banks.

How would they even know? I’ve never once had that issue.

I am getting an error: “We cannot fulfill accessories in the same order as your Impression Kit”

How to get around that?

The SB offer requires the Impression Kit

Take a chance on another portal that doesn’t require an impression kit and buy something else.

Also on SimplyMiles for 4,650 miles which should stack with this. I wish my Citi card would get offers :/

Can you stack simplymiles with a portal to get triple stack with this??

It should work in theory but literally nothing tracked for me. Not the citi offer, simply miles or TCB

It says “Offer excludes taxes.” under Terms of Use for me.

Here is a $10 item:
https://www.byteme.com/products/extraction-tool

Also, the $45 dollar rebate in some CB portals says must buy the impression kit.

Anecdotally, it seems that most Citi cards do not actually get offers. Of the cards I own, the only card that ever has offers is a Double Cash.

Interesting. My Double Cash does NOT have the offers (and neither does AAdvantage Plat Select), but Dividend, Rewards+ and Premier do have them.

The offers are hard to get to. In the app, you need to scroll down to “Explore Products & Offers” and tap on the header/”>” arrow, not the 4 circles. Then, need to wait for “Merchant Offers” to load at the very bottom.

Error: We are having trouble loading your offers. Please try again later.

I opened a CitiBiz AA card 3 weeks ago, no offer in my account.
Is this normal?
