Update 10/19/21: Deal is back for 4,000 Swagbucks. Hat tip to reader Hoops

Our Verdict

From what I understand, this is a just a simple one-time purchase of $15 and should be an easy $25 moneymaker if all tracks properly. Please share your experiences in the comments below. We once wrote about a Byte deal when is was just an $11 moneymaker; this deal is significantly better.

This is at ~$50 on mypoints. There’s also a referral offer I got emailed after initiating which lowers the referees kit cost to $14.95 and has a complicated additional benefit for both parties (Bytebucks which an be cashed out for gift cards).

I found promo code “exclusive200” which drops it down to $12.95. I don’t see anything in the terms for a minimum purchase or exclusion of promos. Has anyone tried this?

YMMV. I did this last year on MP and it was really the only offer they didn’t credit me for.

I would advise not doing it, it’s such a garbage waste if you are not planning to actually use it

Also wondering if this is worth it at 24.95.

I see their website takes Amazon pay. Could be a good way to get the $5 promo for spending $10 posted a few days ago on DOC.

Link for me says price is $24.95 not $14.95.
Is this worth the hassle and spam?

Yes, 90% of the time they raise the price when byte runs their promotion. Barely worth the hassle and spam when it is $14.95.
