• Citi has sent out offers to some cardholders. Some offers are as follows:
  • Extra 5% on purchases you make online until 10/30 including restaurants, grocery, and gas ($25 maximum)
  • Extra 5% on select categories until 10/30 including restaurants, grocery, and gas ($25 maximum)
  • 0% APR on purchases

Our Verdict

It’s not actually an extra 5%, it’s a total of 5% (e.g if you have a cash back card that earns 2% then you’ll get 3% bonus cash back). The maximum is on the bonus cash back, not the total cash back (e.g it won’t be $500 in spend to max it out).
