The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • Citi are offering a 30% transfer bonus when you transfer your Citi ThankYou points to Qatar Avios program. The normal transfer rates is 1,000:1,000 under this promotion it’s 1,000:1,300

The Fine Print

  • Valid until June 30, 2023

Our Verdict

This is actually a transfer bonus from Qatar instead of Citi. They did offer a transfer bonus of up to 40% in the past. This offer isn’t as good as that, but you don’t have to transfer a minimum of 20,000 points. That being said it’s rare to see this transfer bonus from Citi so it might be worth considering for some people.

Can you transfer Qatar points to other Avios accounts (IB, BA, EI)?

More precisely, it’s “45 days post Campaign’s end date”, so it’ll be around mid August.

But based on the comments last year, it’s likely 7/7 again this time.

Citi is not offering the 30% bonus. Qatar is offering the bonus for all it’s member banks which includes Citi. You won’t see the 30% bonus points while doing the transfer. Qatar will add it later.
