This is what I was told today after sending a secure message:
“We are aware of a possible issue regarding your introductory promotional offer for Bonus ThankYou Points. This issue is currently being investigated. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a time frame for a resolution at this time.

We regret any inconvenience or difficulty this may have caused you. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.”

NOT correct. got my card today and it was $200 off $1500 spend. the application screen said otherwise though on 29 December.

Sent a secure message and they responded :

I signed up for this and called. They asked me to FAX my screen shot, which I did. Waiting to hear back if they will honor the offer.

During application process, I received confirmation of the $0 purchases for 20,000 bonus points. (did not take screenshots) Got approval letter paperwork and listed it as $1500 for the 20k.

Talked with Citi CS and they refused to honor the $0 purchases in exchange for 20k bonus.

I applied when the promo was live 20,000 thank you pts for $0 spend on the 25th of Dec. I should have taken a screenshot. Anyway, the rep says that my offer was for $1500 min spend.

Link now shows 20k fot $1500 in spend. Definitely was a glitch.

Applied for my wife and had to call in today. They said it is still pending since their system is down (glitching) and probably will hear something in 24-48 hours. She said the offer was 20k for $1500 in spend. Not sure if the glitch is showing the 0 spend. I have screen shots so I will see how this plays out once we get the approval and secure message them.
