Our Verdict

Currently the website is forcing people into a line to purchase, but you should be able to eventually refresh and get in. I suspect this will be cancelled, but who knows.

LOL well darn…

“Thank you for contacting us about our Colgate Smart Toothbrush giveaway.

Recently, an “invitation only” promotion was sent to a limited group of people, offering a free Colgate Smart Electric Toothbrush in exchange for a completed survey. This offer was shared publicly, causing an influx of unauthorized orders. We will be working on identifying all people who were not part of the Colgate authorized promotion and canceling those orders.

Please bear with us while we work through the logistics. Your order should be canceled and a notification will be sent to the email address on file.”

After going through the queue, I’m getting a message “Please enable cookies to continue.”
And this is after I have disabled all privacy/tracking protections in the browser and volunteering to expose myself (have tried Firefox, Chrome and Edge).
Guess this doesn’t work any more.

Please don’t post links with the skimresources.com prefix. It makes the life of those who have blocked ad or tracking links hard.

uBlock Origin shows a blocked page that breaks down the URL, including showing the destination URL without the skimresource prefix. Makes it easy to go to the actual offer URL.

It’s not that easy for me, I get all those “%” characters in between.
Still don’t get why we need to be tortured. Just post the link!

Look at all these West Coast people and Hawaiians desperate for nonexistent free electric toothbrushes.

Y’all just volunteered your mailing information for no reason. Enjoy the junk mail from Colgate affiliates.

To be fair, it’s not hard to find folks mailing information. All of us regularly give out information for many of these deals and bank bonuses.

I still get the occasional junk postal mail to a fake name I used on a Facebook account a decade+ ago and haven’t logged into for five years. Once a name/address is out there, it’s out there forever. I find it amusing since the name’s of an anime character.

Imagine thinking it’s hard to get your mailing info. Unless you never sign up for bank bonuses, plenty of companies have your info.

You cant just throw that in the recycle along with all your other junk mail?
