The idea is that you register your employees and they continue to earn their standard miles & perks and as a business you also earn Business Extra points. You can currently get 500 points by completing a quick one to two minute survey.

You can see what you can redeem these points for here. They are much more valuable then regular American Airline miles, for example a flight within North America is 2,000 points. An admirals club day pass will set you back 300 points. A one segment upgrade within North America or between North America & Hawaii/Caribbean costs exactly 650 points. It’s definitely worth signing up if you have a business. Points earned expire on a rolling basis. The points you earn this year will expire on Dec in 2 years. They don’t extend expiry by earning more. Each point has their own expiry date. Readers might have 650 points from a previous sign up bonus promotion.
