Dash Button Credits Extended through 2018 + Charmin Dash for $.99

For those into the Dash button game. The updated Terms & Conditions page for the Dash button shows a new end-date of December 31, 2018 for the final time you can attempt an order to get the $4.99 credit. Hopefully, that end-date works for all buttons, even those already purchased.

On a different note, the Charmin Dash button is current on sale for $.99. Sounds like Amazon will be running one deal each day through the holiday season as part of Dash Daily Delights. This one might end soon, but there should be another one available.

Update: Today’s deal is the Arm and Hammer Dash button.

Like all Dash buttons, it comes with a $4.99 credit to be used for your first order. Keep in mind you’ll have to actually place an order (or use this workaround) to get the $4.99 credit on each Dash button. Here’s a technical analysis on Dash buttons for those interested.

this deal train seems to be dead. SD reporting that amazon changed the TOS and backend script. credit can only be applied to the designated products. sad to this see this deal ending. I’m stuck with quite a few inactivated button, but i’m sure i can find some use for hem

The credit is not working. I setup the button and paired it etc but not selected the product. It is not able to order (blinks red) but does not add the credit either. Tried it out with a mock order of something else.

Same here – no credit. They must have fixed the loophole. Bummer. At least I only wasted a buck…

Same issue, tried on the last few buttons that were on sale – no credit yet (2 days later).

How did you get it to work? Mine still doesn’t

Ugh, I snapped up the Arm & Hammer button, but didn’t think to check if they offered unscented litter first. Nope, all whopping five choices are heavily perfumed, even the “natural” kind.

That was obvious negligence on my part, but as a general rule, the selection on most of these Dash buttons is crap. Not even worth buying to scrape the bonus.

Anyone confirm if the date extension does indeed apply to dash buttons previously purchased (but not activated yet)?

I already have a Arm & Hammer Cat Litter Dash Button. Can I get the $4.99 credit again if I order a second one?

People on SlickDeals seemed to think so, they were saying get as many as possible

is anyone else NOT seeing the option for no-rush shipping on these? Looks like they got wise. i have never had a problem ordering these with no-rush shipping until yesterday and today.

no-rush shipping only when you buy 2. since this has a limit of 1 there is no way to do no-rush shipping.

The Charmin button was $0.99 yesterday, today it’s back up to $4.99. Today’s $0.99 button is Arm & Hammer cat litter.

I never understood the appeal of these. I don’t want them all over my house and is it that hard to add to your shopping list and/or open your phone and order or am I missing something?

I don’t use them, i just get them for the free $4.99. so in this case its an easy $4 money maker.

after you use them, you can pop them open and keep the AAA battery. just be careful to either deactivate the button or take it out of wi-fi range. i put mine in a small vice and just crank down to pop it open

I bought a bunch of them when they were $1 with $1 no rush credits, just for the $5 credits that come with them. I hate the idea of ordering blindly, though, so I don’t use them otherwise. Now I just feel guilty about the waste I’m creating. That said, if you’re completely loyal to both a certain brand and Amazon regardless of price/competition, or so lazy or rich that comparison shopping feels wasteful to you, I guess these would be a time saver.

I have about 10 of this dash buttons ordered a while ago. It was a pain to register all of them as some required multiple tries, but the worst part is that only 2 of them were able to place an order by pressing button. Others start blinking red when pressed and do nothing.

Dash buttons are considered to be Amazon devices, so don’t forget to go through a shopping portal that offers cash back in this category. Love in Christ.
