I stopped posting these weekly sales because they just kept posting the exact same deals each week with the exact same dates. This is a new deal and the lowest is 4,000 lower than previous deals.

Correct, these are one-way awards. Double for roundtrip. Cheapest Atlanta to Quito is 40k RT within those dates.
These are OW miles. I can’t find anything that is RT for the miles that is posted. The deal appears to be OW miles, so for RT you just have to double the miles.
Yes, DOC. I find they have these “deals” all the time, although quite sparsely distributed. Actually I find Delta miles quite useful.

Today’s sale had Salt Lake City to Shanghai for 30K. Awesome deal for the first time from the SLC hub. Found in slickdeals. Suprised you didnt post here.
It had other regular ones (LAX, SFO to PVG) as well.

atlanta to quito for 20000 seems pretty good
