Booked in PE for 30k o/w, not a terrible redemption (and lots more avail than biz, at least when I looked). So far I’m liking this dynamic pricing a lot better than DL. Also got in on the 10k Aus/NZ, great year to dump my AA miles!

20k in economy and 50k in biz to LHR, 20k in economy to Tokyo.
Probably other deals out there too for those that want to dig.
Great, now award space during the Olympics will be non-existent.
Is there a better way to search these flights than going to aa.com and doing trial and error to see which dates offer the sale?

Curious if this has been active all week. Reading Doc’s site about AA dynamic redemption gone live earlier in the week I checked DEN->NRT (Japan) to view the damage 1st hand. Most redemptions turned my saved AA miles into Zimbabwe dollars overnight. However I was pleasantly surprised to see a few itineraries at 45k one-way business. Sale or *surprise* dynamic pricing actually in the buyer’s favor?
Oh, what? Literally just got off the plane for that exact route with that exact airline!!!!
