The Offer
- Club 1 Hotels has agreed to give Doctor of Credit readers a one year membership package for free (no credit card required). In addition when booking hotels, car rentals and cruises you’ll earn 4 airline miles per $1 spent. Normally a one year membership costs $99 (without the airline miles plan)
Our Verdict
Membership includes:
- Earn 4 Airline Miles for every dollar spent on hotels, cruises and car rentals.
- A $30.00 LuggageFree e-gift card.
- A complimentary one year subscription to Business Traveler Magazine. (Only available online on in the Club 1 Hotels app)
As always it’s important to make sure you price compare to other online travel agencies to ensure you’re getting a good deal. They do have a best rate guarantee, but that is based on the list price of competing sites and doesn’t include things like stacking discounts with Hotels.com.
Just be cautious about signing up for this. You get frequent emails from them, sometimes multiple on the same day. I have unsubscribed from them twice and got another email today. I wanted to support DoC, but am not happy with the outcome.

Just wanted to add a DP & personal recommendation to check out the site:
I had been putting off booking my hotel for a xmas trip to Denver and finally sat down to book everything tonight and decided to give this site a try while comparing the other deal sites.
Ended up finding a Westin in Downtown Denver for $93/night xmas eve/day compared to $149 for all other sites and the 10% code worked immediately to reduce this to <$190 after tax!
Thanks to DoC & Club1Hotels for this deal!

Hi Jeff,
Can you please email [email protected] the issue you are having and any screenshots for us to better assist you.
Any idea if this would code as travel when booking?
Hi Uday,
Yes, all our bookings are categorized as “travel” for your credit card rewards program.
What about for existing members. Are you offering promo for renewal?
Not sure, I can ask for something though.
Hi Ketan,
Great question! If you’ve been a member of Club 1 Hotels for 3 months or more, just email [email protected] with the secret code “DOC Special Renew” in the subject line. Our team will automatically renew your membership for the 2nd year for Free.
*Please note: Secret renewal code expires 12/31/2018
Doc William Charles,
The $30 LuggageFree credit only seems to come with the $65 membership upgrade:

Kinda bait-and swtich. In the home page it shows Hyatt Ziva cancun on a Feb9 for $239. When you click on it junps to $400+
As advertised on the home page, the rate of $239 is per person based on double occupancy
Hmm..thanks. Going forward, I would make sure that the price listed while shopping for shoe is not ‘per’ shoe.
Not a huge fan of the website. First place that says ‘we do not support auto fill’ .. why does that matter? If my browser fills it, take it. And then I selected a rate from the search screen that didn’t have the non-refundable tag, but on the next page it says “Standard Cancel Policy: Charge full stay if cancelled 0 hour after booking is made” .. so to me that’s a non refundable rate? On another rate absolutely no cancellation policies are shown on the booking screen, only on the list of rates does it say ‘Non Refundable’
I appreciate everything DOC shares and does but so far not a great fan of this site’s transparency on hotel cancellation policies, which is really the big differentiator between sites — you can often find cheaper prices, it’s about finding one that meets your flexibility (prepay, cancel, etc) and this is just not easy to figure out here.
How do you know how many miles you will get? It doesn’t say on booking a reservation page.
It’s 4x per $1 spent, so times by four.
DOC space I tried doing multiple dummy bookings in order to get the Hilton business 125,000 and $100 statement credit to show up and unfortunately it is not could you please tell Mr. how to do it I’d be very grateful if you did much appreciated and thank you for your time
Make sure to do from pc where pop up ads are not blocked…. if doesn’t work try another browser or try using incognito/private
And btw if you have any other Amex cards you can refer yourself so instead of getting 100$ you’ll get referral bonus which may be even more valuable depending on which card if course
Hmm, try different areas sometimes that helps
