FYI, I’ve made some deliveries using Doordash. I won’t go into detail about the pay since you can safely assume it’s not going to pay six figures. I also won’t go into exactly how tipping on the app works, but if you choose to tip, you might want to consider tipping in cash.
Feel free to use some codes like this to order from a restaurant down the street. I love short orders because you can get many of them done quickly.
Note: Order a while before you want the food. – It varies widely per order and there really is no rhyme or reason that the customer can understand. Chipotle, Five Guys, or Chinese can be pretty quick, while Wendy’s or MC Donald’s will (Sometimes) take longer depending on how the orders are assigned. It took well over an hour to deliver Little Caesar’s today. (Was going to an Elementary school for the kids, and they were barely going to have time to eat it before school got out.)

Yeah I tried door dash the other day when a flyer came in the mail, they had more options than grubhub or ubereats but it was crazy expensive. I think I’ll pass.
question: does doordash suck? answer: yes. you win! don’t waste your money with them, they are horrible.
Is it just me or does door dash inflate menu prices in addition to charging a delivery fee? Never used them for that reason. Seems dirty and disingenuous. I’d rather they just charge a higher delivery fee and be more honest about their pricing structure.
