  • Ebates is offering up to 3x cashback for Green Monday

The Fine Print

  • Valid until 12/10

Our Verdict

I think these types of promotions really go to show how uncompetitive Ebates normally is that they can triple rates like this. Make sure to use something like cashbackmonitor to ensure you’re getting the best portal deal. Also for those not familiar Green Monday is one of the busiest shopping holidays for online retailers, probably the biggest day in December. I think it used to be the last day lots of places would guarantee delivery before Christmas, but that has obviously changed a bit.

At the very least, they get big points for consistently operating as advertised. I have never had to dog them to get them to live up to their terms like I have had with their competition.

Looks like $40 back on Blue Apron for this promo as well.

Yup just saw this – using a new email too to get the $35/week rate, so it should come out to 3 meals for free + $5

Do you know if Blue Apron counts towards the 20% discount on the Amex Gold?

That discount is for restaurants right? No it coded on my AMEX as Groceries

Blue Apron codes as groceries? I wonder why it doesn’t on my Blue Everyday? Oh well…

Weird, yeah it coded that way on my Amex everyday card

How do you get the $35/week rate? Which discount is that? Thanks

Discount: $50 ($25 x 2, so $25 off first two shipments) – new member offer
Original price was $60 for the plan I was looking at

EDIT: $40 already posted to ebates, even though blue apron shipment was delayed 1 month & have not been charged the $35 yet

Thanks, I see that now. So I guess you are planning on cancelling after the first shipment?

Yeah or I might just keep delaying the shipment until ebates sends the check in Feb.

That may work as well. The terms (ebates) do state that “Use of coupon/promotional codes not listed on Ebates may void Cash Back.”, although when I first hit “shop now” on ebates the only option I had was $20 off 3 boxes.

Received $40 check in the mail today.
No order processed through blue apron and so will be canceling.
Awesome data point for ebates

There may be a better option, I entered my email by did not complete signing up. After about an hour I got an email offering $30 off my first box. That could bring it down to $17.95 for 2 recipes or $29.99 for 3 recipes (+ the $40 from ebates) for the first order. YMMV

Thank you very much! This popped up as I was about to push the button for the Adidas deal. My procrastination paid off this time. This time…..

Ebates may not always have the highest % rates but they do pay out reliably!

+1 I’ve never had a problem with ebates. They are definitely the most reliable and pretty good customer service.

+1. Trying to get my $$ out of Topcashback was like the lowest paying part time job I ever had.

Not having a problem is not a useful data point. Should TV news start covering businesses who were not robbed, or pedestrians who were not run over today? Those events are only valuable in the aggregate, not invividually — and this is not a statistical survey.

This reply isn’t a useful data point either. Saying they are satisfied with ebates is definitely useful to other people. I am also satisfied with ebates. They are easy to use with a chrome extension or on your phone using their app and send out payment every quarter promptly. I have never had to fight for my cash back even though it may not be the highest at every store. Reliability and customer service is worth a little less cash back in my opinion.
