The Offer

Direct link to offer (our affiliate link)

  • eBay is offering $25 off when you spend $119 or more and use the promo code PRIMO119

The Fine Print

  • This Coupon is a $25 discount off a minimum purchase of $119, valid from 5:00 AM PT on July 17, 2018 until 11:00 PM PT on July 17, 2018.
  • Discount applies to the purchase price (excluding shipping, handling, and taxes) of eligible items on ebay.com.
  • Eligible items exclude warranties and protection plans, as well as items from the Coins & Paper Money, Gift Cards & Coupons, and Real Estate categories.

Our Verdict

This is a not so subtle dig at Amazon Prime (as this costs $119 a year now) as today is Amazon Prime day. Keep in mind eBay will do a 110% price match on some purchases (although I guess this will apply to price after the discount). This works out to be a maximum discount of ~21%, so better than the recent deals of 15%/20% but much less flexible. To maximize this deal make sure to use a portal to get a further 2.5% cash back. I’ll add any deals that are worth looking at below. Share your own in the comments as well.

Curious that ebay is quiet today — 2019…. Nothing like last year’s deals? Or are we missing something?

DP: Can’t stack this with the Facebook $10 for $10 coupon. Only let’s you apply one. Ebay says only one coupon can be used for this purchase.

I couldn’t get PRIMO or PRIMO119 to work, but PRIMO79 works for $15 CAD (=11.43 USD) off purchases of CAD79. Found on Topcashback.

I can’t get the PRIMO119 code to work, even after adding $199 before shipping to my cart. Any help?

Check that the items aren’t under exclusions. Also, be sure you are logged into Paypal.

Same here.
“We can’t apply this code until you reach the minimum order total.”
And the total after shipping is >$120.

Is anybody else unable to use more than one ebay gift card at once? It isn’t working for me so I called customer service. They told me ebay changed their policy to only allow one gift card per transaction. The CSR rep sounds clueless though.

It seems you have to create a Paypal account to use more than one gift card at a time.

“You Don’t Need to Be a Member” my ass.

There is also a 20% off select online purchases over $50 with the code PRIMO. Max discount is $50. Found via the Ibotta Ebay portal.

The terms don’t really say within the Ibotta app. I tried to use it for automotive parts and it wouldn’t apply.

I was able to use it on a GoPro Hero 6 from seller redtagcamera, listed for $350, with PRIMO coupon – $300 total.

FYI, the PRIMO coupon code showed up on the “My Ebay” page for me. This is the text for me: 20% off your purchase of $50.00 or more, up to $50.00 off. Redemption code: PRIMO

It seems to only show up for certain users though. My husband’s ebay account did not receive this offer
