Will AMEX count this purchase as gaming? I have MSR to meet on my BGR, so I am wondering should I go for it or not.
Not sure how PPDG is viewed by Amex TBH, the RAT squad is always on the lookout these days. I always use a third-party site for GC’s when I need to hit MSR on Amex like CardPool or CardCash.

Curious you mentioned PPDG — since I haven’t seen many, if any, PPDG gift cards being offered via Ebay lately. All the current discounted fare are via SVM and snail mail. (and the deals are non-starters for re-selling and as such, significant money losers for meeting minimum spends — all of them)
Several weeks ago I saw the news of ebay changing its arrangements with paypal — has me wondering if this somehow might also explain the disappearance of ppdg from ebay.
Worked fine for me to meet MSR on BGR a few months ago.
Definitely not gaming, but will count towards MSR.
Are all portals dead for PPDG card rebates these days?
