Emirates has devalued business class award flights by increasing the price. Some price increases:

JFK to MXP: 75k miles (was 62.5k)
SFO to MLE: 143k miles (was 125k)

I have 135,000 points on my amex platinum. & 2 free nights in Dubai. Rookie with miles. Anyone point me in right direction please? . 85k on chase sapphire preferred. Thank you. Looking for about a week long trip.

Massive hassle to refund EK award tickets… I had to cancel a booking recently and the miles still have not come back weeks later.

Be sure to push hard for a supervisor. Was able to upgrade my wife on flight over to MXP, but flights back Italian agent had no idea and kept telling us there no seats. Finally I go to a supervisor to find out there were in fact 2 seats, that had just been snapped up. J seats were meh

I have a bad feeling that 2022 will be the year of devaluations. Everyone has so many points saved up and travel is quickly approaching historical norms
