What will the sign up bonus be?
At this stage we don’t have any idea on what the sign up bonus will be. We can make some educated guesses based on what has been offered previously. The most recent offer was 40,000 points. We’ve also seen a bonus of 75,000 points. I personally don’t think we will see a bonus as high as 75,000 points, but I’d be happily be proven wrong. Recently the Citi Premier was 60,000 points and that’s what I expect we will see on the Prestige as well. If they really want to make a bang though, they will go for the 100,000 point bonus.
Prestige has lost the air travel redemption bonus, will the Citi Premier also lose the 25% bonus?
I suspect it will, but we don’t have any official confirmation either way yet.
Is the card keeping GlobalEntry and other benefits?
Yes, the card is keeping all existing benefits unless otherwise noted (e.g entertainment category being removed and fourth night free benefit being restricted).
