Our Verdict

Update: Reader Jake points out that it states: One $200 statement credit allowed per company. so you might be limited to one $200 statement credit.

We’d previously posted about two of these offers, but we didn’t know of any none affiliate links. We now do and we’ve also got the same bonus on an additional two cards. These are one of the better cash sign up bonuses that are currently available. Most people are interested in these bonuses because Bank of America inquiries combine if you make multiple in the same day, so theortically you could apply for all four of these cards and get a $800 in bonuses (although I wouldn’t recommend it).

Before applying/asking questions, please read this list of 20 Things Everybody Should Know About Bank of America Credit Cards – as it will usually answer your questions.

Thanks to reader Matt P for letting us know about these offers

The above link is broken and these offers are no longer available. I just applied and got approved for the Business Advantage Cash Rewards Choice. It looks like they also have a Business Advantage Travel Rewards Card and a Platinum Visa Business Card:

Be aware that if you need to call B of Am regarding a business credit card, you’ll likely be told there is a long wait and be given the option for a call back. They’ll typically say something like ‘in 30 minutes’ but in most of my experiences, it involved >90 minutes, and in one case, 2 1/2 hours. Then some agents tell you the only way they can verify you is by texting you, or social security, but in fact, other agents can verify you with the 3 digit code on the back of your card. I had to call over and over again to get the $200 promotion. So, sign up at your own risk.

Note that DoC now says ‘One $200 statement credit allowed per company. so you might be limited to one $200 statement credit.’

Does anyone knows how to setup AutoPay for BoA Business Advantage Cash Rewards Card?
I am having a hard time setting it up from my BoA BillPay service since this card doesn’t show up at all?

I got the BOA Business Travel Rewards card. I was thinking of transferring rewards to my BOA Premium card for cash at one to one. But then I checked the gift card redemptions. They have some hot deals, for example TJ Maxx at 20% off. I used to be able to get these TJMaxx/Homegoods cards for 20+% off in years past, but that has been gone for a while and see only 7% or so off these days. So I was happy to get these cards at 20% discount, because my wife constantly spends a lot there, and often for business.

I wish I had seen that earlier because I just redeemed a 1K for cash on the Premium card that I could have transferred to this one. The same GC redemption from the Prem card was 1 to 1 compared to the .8 to 1 with the Bus card. So this makes the Prem and regular travel reward card with my Plat 2.625% potentially worth another 20% to me if they periodically have these gc sales on the bus card.

Any recent data points on opening 3 business accounts in a days span for one pull? My wife’s business could easily spend $1500 in a couple months for $400 back and 25,000 points (opening 3 current offers). Any negatives to doing this? Thanks

Can someone help me on the recon? All 4 of my apps went to pending and 7-10 days message. Can’t even see my application status online, but it hasn’t been 24 hours. When I called the number for business applications (888-663-6262) the same lady answers (Deedra?) and she tells me to expedite the cards will be $20 fee and “they” should be calling me if they have any questions on the application.

I was under the impression I could call myself and go over the apps to get approved.

Nvm found the business recon line number, its 1-800-601-3923

Also, it should be noted that if you have less than 1 year of business credit history they will not approve you for more than 1 card. I had to call recon several times, spoke to supervisor and they could not give me more than 1 card because of this reason.

Thanks for you DP.
I had almost the same story applied for 2 cards. Both got rejected. The reason “The length of established credit is not long enough”.When I spoke to reconn customer support he said that we see you opened 3 c/c in last 6 month and we want to see how you going to handle them and the last one c/c opened 12/16 (merrill) . Pretty frustrated. Will try huca and see may be I have some other options

Applied for 3 cards today, the platinum, cash rewards, and world points. Had to recon for every single one. Even had the same recon analyst on the call for cards 1 and 2 (she was very confused). Debated not even going for #3 but reminded myself I needed to be the DP that I wanted to see. Approved for all 3.

Was grilled pretty hard on apps 1 and 3 so know your stuff before calling. Applied with a 3yo business and low revenue. Total limit of 6k.

I also applied for two of them and got denied at first and called today. They were able to approve me for both and were nice about it but they kinda went in depth. I mentioned one of my businesses is just selling on ebay and the other is working with apps and marketing, they actually looked up my apps in the appstore lol. Should have went for a 3rd.

I’d give it another shot. My apps also got flagged as fraud but I called the analysts again for two cards. The first time they were transfering me over to the fraud dept and just came back and said Sir they actually don’t need to speak to you, your card is on your way. 2nd time after I realized they must have not noticed I had 2 apps and one of them was still with fraud, I called again and got transferred to the fraud dept, literally all they needed was to have me name a random credit account I have to make sure it was me.

Darv, same thing happened to my third card. I DM’d via twitter and got a super helpful rep. within 4 days it was in my online banking and they overnight’d the card. I would suggest doing the same. Ask for Stella on twitter (Although I’m sure anyone will be helpful).
