This is meant as a goodwill gesture due to interruptions which were experienced on the internet service in certain areas.
The Fine Print
- Must submit request form by 6/11/15
- Only for customers with active XFINITY Internet service in California, Washington State, and Tucson, Arizona who were affected by the issue
- Residential customers only
- Within 4-6 weeks, a credit will post to your Comcast account
- You’ll receive an email confirmation within 10 business days
Our Verdict
Free $5 for filling out a form. It’s nice to see a company proactive in compensating for sub-par service. Would have been nicer if they’d automatically credit the accounts without necessitating a form which most people won’t know about.
