Usually these free after rebates aren’t too difficult to complete anymore. Seems we often see them for diary free ice cream as well.

Automatic reimbursement after buying at Sprout’s. No tax, some small moneymaker with a credit card.

Had to refresh the page a few times, but I managed to get my full rebate paid out via Venmo within about 5 minutes of requesting the payment. I got the mint chocolate chip flavor. It does have a very slight olive oil flavor to it, but it’s not the worst.

I liked the soft texture of it, and I like anything mint chocolate chip anyway, so it was edible to me. I like that this ice cream does have fewer ingredients in it. There is no way I would pay $6 for this though. I would still prefer real dairy ice cream over this. I got mine at Sprouts.

I love EVOO and use it all the time, but I tried the Wildgood mango and the olive oil but not pair well with that, haha.

I’m flabbergasted at the fact that the “brilliant” idea of using EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL in a DESSERT item made it beyond taste-test stages, let alone mass production and grocery chain distribution. What a disgusting product! Doubtful there will be many, or any, repeat buyers.

I bought this yesterday at Publix for $7.49 and got the rebate the same day after some struggles getting the Chop Web site to work (it took around 10 tries and phone number validations). The dairy dessert does not taste good and I would not buy it again. I would much rather have real ice cream, especially since this is priced higher than Jeni’s and Graeters. This has chicory root, so it causes a lot of farting.

I noticed this if you are using an older phone. Try submitting it from a different device or a computer.

Eat real food, and in moderation. Your body will thank you.

Some people can’t have dairy. Others choose to not eat foods with dairy. How exactly should they eat “real” food?

What makes this not real food? Did you actually look at the ingredients?

Filtered Water, Fructose, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Cocoa Processed with Alkali, Chicory Root Fiber, Pea Protein, Carob Bean Gum, Sea Salt, Vanilla Extract.

Hard to find nutritional info on their website but turns out this stuff is loaded with crazy amounts of sugar. First ingredient is water and second is fructose. I love free stuff so will prob get one anyways but plant based definitely does not mean healthy.

Same for “organic”, “non-GMO”, etc. Kudos to you for reading labels and taking the time to understand the Nutrition Facts table.

An ice cream product that has a lot of sugar? Color me shocked. Wait until you see the sugar content in Ben and Jerrys!

It’s a replacement for some people who can’t/won’t eat dairy, not a healthy alternative.

I will happily take all of that “holy hell that’s a lotta sugar!” Ben & Jerry’s off your hands.
