Get 2 Free Kiwi Shoe Care Kits from Walmart Stores with Swagbucks + Ibotta

Swagbucks is running an offer to get 1,500 Swagbucks (worth $15) when buying two Kiwi Shoe Leather Care Kits at a Walmart store and uploading the receipt. Those probably sell in stores for around $11.88 since that’s what they charge online. So you can spend around $24 and get $15 back.

Additionally, Ibotta is offering $4 per Kiwi Leather Care Kits purchased, max 2. So you can upload a single receipt with two Kiwi sets purchased and get $8 from Ibotta. (Search: ‘Kiwi’)

Altogether, you should pay around $24 and get back around $23 which is a good deal if you find these Kiwi sets useful.

Reader Nickod777 suggests doing the same deal with MyPoints as well who are offering 2,500 points (worth around $15) for two Kiwi sets. Mypoints is owned by the same company as Swagbucks, and I’ve long wondered whether it’s possible to do the same deal on both platforms.

Update: Seems from the comments, that it’s okay to do the deal with SB and MP, but you can’t use the same receipt for both.

Most Swagbucks deals show up on MyPoints as well for roughly the same cashback. MyPoints points are worth around 2/3 of a percent, making them more confusing to translate into cash which is why I usually just post about Swagbucks instead. If both work, that changes a lot, of course. It may well depend on the offer since different deals on these platforms run through different partners.

I got mypoints approval and Swagbucks approval. I’m blocking out my name on MyPoints, as I don’t believe it shows on Swag. I’m blocking out my lifetime earnings on Swagbucks as a very potential identifier. I submitted to MP first and waited for approval. Then 15 minutes later I sent the same 2 receipts uploaded at SB. Just before the start of the 16th, I was approved. Roughly a 30 minute wait for approval.

YMMV in terms of approval time.

Thanks for the data point. Personally I wouldn’t risk it given the other shutdown data point we heard, but glad to hear it worked out for you.

Yes, I did this deal last time and used a gift card. Funny, I don’t think I’ve ever used a credit card at Walmart, only discounted gift cards 🙂

Only time I use CC at Walmart personally is when I have an offer on card, (5% cashback), or when I get an offer from my Walmart CC. Usually mail comes in once a month with an offer basically asking that I buy something and get $10 back. Just be careful with coupons. the terms of the coupons could prevent you from actually getting points or SB. Rebates are safer, since they aren’t gonna show on the receipt.

I’ll update all of you with how it turns out this time. The first time I did it, I returned the products (months ago) 5 times to get new receipts each time with rejections. On the 4th repurchase, or 5th attempt on the same offer, I nailed it by not using a self-checkout lane and submitting to MP and waiting for acceptance, then submitting to SB. Which Got accepted.

My 2nd time, technically last month I tried through SB first. I got approved, then used MP… They gave me half credit, which wasn’t a MM, so I returned my purchase. and of course, I lost what I gained.

I’m going back to my first method, and will update everyone on what happens. I’m still waiting on MP before I do SB.

You can do both, you just have to make separate purchases.

Do not try to double dip swagbucks + mypointa with same receipt. I did it once not seeing any sort of warnings in terms and my account was shut down immediately. Had a good history of playing by the rules and they blew me up instantly. I have since noticed in the fine print that the receipt can not be tied to any other offers… obviously they can only enforce what they see and they will likely see that.

Chuck, just in reference to your edit of the post, I think it is fine to do the same deal on both platforms – just as long as you have separate receipts. I did that with the ziplock, kiwi (cleaner or polish products, not the kit), coffeemate liquid and coffeemate powder offers.
