Get 85,000 Drop Points ($85) With Any Credit Card Approval

The Drop app has a new ‘Travel Rewards’ tab which offers 85,000 points when you apply and are approved for a credit card. The site redirects to creditsoup.com/travel-cards. CreditSoup is an affiliate site to apply for credit cards. (You can find the offer in your Drop account by filtering Finance > Travel Rewards.)

Basically, it’s an extra $85 on top of the regular bonus. (Note: you might only end up with $75 or $80 due to rewards being in $25/$30/$50/$100 increments). Obviously only makes sense for a scenario that the bonus shown on CreditSoup is as good as what you’d be getting otherwise, and also only if you don’t have a friend/spouse to refer you.

The CreditSoup site has all kinds of credit cards available, but it sounds like only the cards which populate under the Travel Rewards option are eligible for the bonus. For example, you can apply for the Southwest companion pass signup offer deal which we posted about the other day, and you’ll get an extra $85 on top of the regular signup bonus.

Be sure to click through the Drop link before applying. Let us know if you try any other, non-travel cards and it works.

How to earn your points

  1. You must be a new Travel Rewards credit card applicant

  2. You must apply through the button below

  3. Drop points are earned when your application for a Travel Rewards credit card has been approved

Just a heads up that I did this offer in March, points never showed up, opened a ticket/emailed last week with screenshots, never heard back, followed up yesterday and still no reply at all. Drop seems like a complete scam. I’m wondering if it’s worth sending a complaint to the AG office.

Is this targeted? I don’t see the “Travel Rewards” tab in my app.

In the shop tab, sort by points high to low and you’ll see it near the top. But it does appear the offer has expired.

Is it limit 1 per user or can we apply for multiple cards and get points

I applied for a “Travel Rewards” card on 15 Feb. Tried to apply from the app, but I hated it. Used the Drop offer button to e-mail the link instead. (I was wondering if I should sign up for the TR site and decided against it, as it said we needed to be new users)

85K Drop points posted overnight last night, 26 Feb.

When I view the details in Drop, says the transaction occurred 17 Feb, and the bonus was awarded 25 Feb.

I submitted my Drop support ticket on 18 Feb – the response was to wait 30 days.

Not sure if it matters which “Travel Reward” card you pick, but I did the Citi Premier. A M

Thank you  William Charles  Chuck for pointing out the deal! I ignored the Ollie and Farmer’s Dog haters because the Drop app still has value.

I got the same response when I sent Drop support email and did the Citi Premier, too. Don’t see points yet.

Ollie’s posted for me immediately. No problems with Drop so far

I finally did get them. Just followed up with screenshots of account approved, and going through the Drop app portal.

Anyone got a DP of it tracking?

My Ollie Drop offer posted as pending within hours of purchase.

For this one, I was approved immediately and it’s been almost a day now. No sign of pending.

I applied for a card on 15 Feb. No Drop points yet. After a couple of days, I contacted Drop support:

Their response: Hey there Gadget 👋

Points from the Travel Rewards offer should be delivered to your account after 30 days! 📬 We know it might be a little bit of a wait, but we’re hoping it’s worth it when you cash in those rewards. 💸

In the case that the specified timeframe has elapsed and you don’t notice any changes, send us a line and we’ll be happy to investigate further for you!

I’ve had a lot off issues with Drop. Points don’t post, then they gaslight me for weeks when I try to follow-up.

Sure use this link, but expect them to cheat you out of the points and consider it a nice surprise if they actually live up to their promise.

I’ve deleted the drop app, because I’ve had a few too many offers not track and the folks at drop didn’t seem interested in resolving. Great offer, but wanted to post a warning.

I’m going to do the Southwest offer so I’d like to take advantage of this. I’ve always had good luck with Drop until all the apps started requiring two step authentication and stopped working with Fidelity cards. But, the redirect page won’t load for me. Does it work for anyone else?

I’ve had several issues with Drop points not posting, but they always resolve the issues. You can never take too many screenshots. They’ve always been helpful in proving my step by step navigation from Drop to partner sites. I had an issue with a credit card offer via Creditsoupthat didn’t post, but provided enough evidence to receive the credit.

Drop points NEVER track. And it doesn’t matter that I make it as easy as possible, disable all the anti-tracking stuff, etc etc etc. I always have to follow up

This is too good to be true. Drop has posted these huge offers before and then refused to credit the points. It’s a scam company baiting and switching users.

What do you mean by its too good to be true? Don’t you know how much bloggers like TPG and OMAAT make from affiliate CC signups? Drop/CreditSoup is sharing part of that with you.
