[Expired] Google Express: 20% off for All Customers, Max $20

This deal has expired and is unfortunately no longer available. Never miss another deal again by signing up for free and instant notifications of new posts.

The Offer

  • Google Express is offering 20% off purchases with promo code: APP20OFF

The Fine Print

  • Expires February 12th
  • Max $20 discount

Our Verdict

Max this out by purchasing $100 worth of stuff. Shipping is free typically at $25 or $35, depending on the store – anywhere from there until $100 is a good deal.

20% off at random stores isn’t too interesting, but Google Express has stores of Walmart, Target, and so many more on their system, and most people will have some groceries or staple items they need making this deal an easy one to use.

Note, you can only use one promo code per order, so this won’t stack with a new user bonus or any other sort of Google Express promo code you have. If you’re new to Google Express you can get a new user promo code. You can use Chuck’s referral code Z294732W4 (signup link) which gives you $10 off $10 or use SHOP2018 for 20% off first order (max $20).

It should be noted that Costco prices on Express are 20% higher than in store, so it appears this is wash. Walmart appears to not be marked up.

Probably obvious but anyway.

I am going to assume that gift cards are excluded.

Too bad the coupon doesn’t work with a VGC. Must use CC to pay.

i paid with a one vanilla mc that I bought from Sam’s for the Freedom 5% back. The profit on the mcgc is only 3+% but I didn’t want to buy $1,500 in Sam’s GC’s.

I am on the board of a private school. Tonight the principal asked if we could bypass our supplier and buy Heinz ketchup for the kids. I volunteered to buy the ketchup. Anyway, I came home and saw this opportunity. Just bought $50 worth of ketchup and got 20% off! Nice! Thanks DoC.

Would this work for a $100 Vgc/mgc from, say, Staples or Target?

I love these Google Express discounts. Using this promo and my 2% card I saved around $12.50 because one of my favorite items cost 9% more on Google Express.

Also have to watch out for sales tax (at least in Midwest. They are based in Chicago so they charge 10.25% vs 7% where I live locally

Thanks Doc, these promos are Always solid for Costco heavy items. Yes Google Express charges more than in Costco warehouse, but after 20% off I’d say I come out about 5% ahead on stuff my fiance and I would otherwise buy from the warehouse anyways (La Croix, Paper Towel, Vitamin Waters, etc). Tho lose on the 4% reverse velocity I’d get paying in the warehouse, GE only gets the standard 1%.

And it’s always nice to save the time and energy of shleping those items from the Warehouse, tho it would be nice if GE expanded the number available items to include more grocery/produce items that are available in Costco warehouse.

“Max this out by purchasing $10 worth of stuff.” Wouldn’t that be $100?
