Earlier today MtM posted an article ‘Is 5X Earning on Gyft With Chase Ink Dead? We Need Your Data Points‘. Gyft often has gift cards on sale and previously as long as you checked out through PayPal and used the Chase Ink Cash/Plus it would code as 5x points. It looks like something has changed on/around 7/31 and these purchases are no longer earning 5x.

It’s possible that this is temporary or that the coding will revert back to 5x, but at this stage it doesn’t look good. Please only post your datapoints if you remembered to go through PayPal to check out.
So what sites will you all use to buy WM GC’s?
I tested the Ink Plus and Ink Preferred on 8/9 with Paypal. Both gave me 1x. Has anyone tried Ink Preferred without PayPal via direct entry?
