I love how Xfinity advertises this deal all over the place, but when you click on it all you see is “Try again in a few minutes”.
Thank you, I’ve signed up with HBO Max about a month ago through a free one month trial and will switch to this promotion. I am really impressed with HBO Max premium content. Not just the original content that HBO is famous for but also the content they licensed from others like the Big Bang Theory. They are also really pushing for getting the latest movies onto their platform – Jo Jo rabbit, Birds of Prey, Joker, etc. Frankly I am considering canceling my Netflix and Disney+ subscriptions as I think HBO will have everything I need.
I think it’s more correct to say “new and returning” rather than “new and existing.” I don’t think you can enter a code until your current membership lapses.
New & previous probably makes more sense, I’ll update.
How does this work if I was subscribed through the app on iOS? I cancelled but my only option for a new subscription is $14.99 and no way to add the code. Hmm….
I’m in the same boat. I’ve signed up through a free trial promo. My trial expired yesterday and what I did i’ve just resubscribed to this new offer on HBO website but with a different email address and then updated my login on Apple TV. It worked.
If you subscribe to HBO Max on YouTube TV, you can remove your subscription to HBO Max and then add it back to get the 11.99 rate.

You can save more than this by buying HBO Now gift cards… once loaded to an HBO Now account it works for HBO Max.
