Here’s The Best (& Easiest) Way You Can Support Doctor of Credit

Readers often ask for ways they can support this site and at the moment there is a really simple way to do so. If you’re not interested in supporting this site, that’s fine but this post isn’t for you so just skip to the next one! Amazon is currently offering a free of Audible with two credits (we discussed this in this post here). Usually these free trials are only opened to new users but this one seems to also be working for some return users (doesn’t work for current users). The two credits can be used towards two audiobooks. Signing up for an account greatly supports the site and you might even find you like audible.

Keep in mind that after the free trial ends you will be charged $14.95 per month (if you don’t like the service then be sure to notate on your calendar to cancel if you don’t want to continue the subscription. Or just download the 2 audiobooks immediately and then cancel; those books will be available forever. Although it’s always a good idea to give it a chance first!).  I can recommend Trevor Noah’s “Born A Crime” audiobook, I have always been a big fan of his stand up work (not a big fan of him on The Daily Show) and really enjoyed the book as well. If anybody else has any recommendations I’d love to hear them, usually I prefer just reading books but I have found having one audiobook on the go a good way to increase the number of books I’m “reading” as sometimes I’m just too tired to actually read. Anyways, big thanks to anybody that signs up or has signed up. Sorry for this little ad of a post, I promise it won’t become a habit!

As always the next best way to support the site is by sharing deals with us (contact us here) or by providing helpful comments and being kind to each other!

Oh and I signed up for Audible using your link, thank you Doctor of Credit.
I bought Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: Read by Eddie Redmayne.

I’m going to give it 3 weeks before I cancel, just in case it affects the commission.

I consider myself a pretty active Patreon supporter. If DoC starts a Patreon I’ll be one of the first to join!
I’m in!

Hey DoC,
Do you get a kick back even if we cancel immediately?

For sure if you wait a day, but I’m pretty sure even if you cancel immediately we’d get our commission.
Thanks

I used the link from the original post to sign up; happy to do anything I can to support the site! For my first free book I got Al Franken’s “Giant of the Senate.” It’s maybe not for everyone but it’s been making me laugh and even cry a bit during a road trip up the California coast. I’m glad I signed up and I’m looking forward to picking out my second free book. Thanks Doc!

Those digging around Amazon immediately after purchase trying to cancel, its easiest to go to Audible.com, log in with Amazon credentials, and cancel from account page there. I couldn’t find the cancel option anywhere on Amazon.
