Our Verdict
I suspect this is targeted towards inactive accounts so most readers won’t be eligible. It’s worth keeping in mind currently you can get up to 10% in eBay bucks. There is also another PayPal promotion for $20 off $50+, but not sure if they can be stacked or not.
I got a $10 off $10.01 but also highly targeted – terms state non transferable and will only work if you got it in your eBay
I clicked the link and saw the banner you’ve shown above, but I note that in the fine print it says: “Check My eBay to verify your coupon eligibility.” Just where exactly in our account will it so verify this (any ideas)? I suppose I’ll have to test it out to be sure. (And as Sam said, it’s “TAKEFIVE.”)
When you try to check out and input the offer code you will see if works right there.
If you have a coupon attached to your account then it’ll show up on top of your My eBay page (it’ll create a new section with your coupon info) — I have my “Watch List” on top so the coupon section would be added above that if I had a coupon available
same here. I saw the banner but it’s not on My eBay, I manually entered the code then got a message:
“Looks like that’s the wrong code. Please double-check and try again.
“
“TAKEFIVE”
Not eligible anyway.
